Backyard, mid day. We got about 2 inches more at least.

Nate checked the Oregon Scientific about once an hour yesterday waiting for the temp to fall, and subsequently, the snow. When he woke up today (at 5:30am, mind you), not a flake had fallen. But we weren't disappointed. By late in the day we had gotten at least 3 inches of the white stuff - fine and powdery (boo hoo, bad for snowmen and snowballs) but fine for sledding. The temp is a cool 25 degrees and it is crazy windy out. Nate was THRILLED to hear on the 5pm news that school has been cancelled tomorrow, no warming in sight (mommy sighs!) I think Ian had the best time of all today - he sledded on the saucers over and over an over with that infectious belly laugh of his all the way down.
